An Overnight in Beantown

Day 1

Morning Departure from your school  

10:00 AM Boston Aquarium and IMAX

The aquarium is home to more than 7,000 fish and aquatic mammals. The focal point being the four-story, 200,000-gallon Giant Ocean Tank. A spiral ramp encircles the tank, which contains a replica of a Caribbean coral reef and an assortment of sea creatures. Other exhibits show off freshwater and tropical marine life, sea otters, and the ecology of Boston Harbor. At the Edge of the Sea exhibit, touch the sea stars, sea urchins, and horseshoe crabs in the tide pool. Included in your visit is a marine mammal presentation and the state-of-the-art film in the IMAX theater.

12:30 PM Fanuel Hall and Quincy Market

Fanuel Hall is often referred to as “the home of free speech” and hosted America’s first Town Meeting. We’ll have time here for you to explore the square, the shops, and to have lunch on your own. 

2:30 PM Duck Tour

Experience Boston by land and by sea this afternoon! Boston Duck Tours are famous around the region and this afternoon, you’ll learn why. You’ll see the state House, the Boston Common, the historic North End, Newbury Street, and the Prudential Tower before splashing into the Charles for a cruise down the river! 

 5:00 PM Dinner

Tonight, we will have dinner at Fire and Ice. You’ll be able to try cuisines from all over the world and watch the chefs prepare it right in front of you! 

 7:00 PM Blue Man Group

This winner of several awards for “Best Off-Broadway Show” in New York, has taken Boston by storm. The Blue Man Group cast is covered from head to toe in blue paint and backed by a sizzling band creating a theatrical evening as outrageously funny as it is amazing. Boston Globe Theater critic, Ed Siegel raved“Laugh yourself Blue! You’ll have so much fun you’ll lose your mind”.

Morning Breakfast at the Hotel

Enjoy a continental breakfast included at the hotel this morning.  

9:00 AM LazerZone

The space age competition takes place in a 5,500-square-foot, black-lit arena mazed with futuristic pillars and walls designed to create a fun, challenging environment for all ages. 

11:00 AM Skyzone with Pizza Lunch

SkyZone Boston is Massachusetts' original trampoline park. Often imitated, but never surpassed, providing out-of-the-box fun! Experience WOW–the weightlessness of bouncing, flipping and landing in a pit filled with 10,000 foam cubes.

1:30 PM Fenway Tour

Visit the park where the Babe pitched, Yaz dazzled, The Kid hit, and Manny and Ortiz still thrill fans today. You can even get a picture with the Green Monster in the background!
